Dear Parents, We have been reading Stone Soup (see video) . On Tuesday, November 26th we are planning a Stone Soup Feast. Our plan is to “make” Stone Soup in the morning. We will be eating our soup and having a “feast” around 2:30 if you would like to join. Please sign up for items listed below if you are able to bring them in by writing your child’s name next to the item. Please send the listed items to school with your child in the morning (on Tuesday, November 26th) so we can cook them in our crock pot and have the soup ready by 2:00. Parents are invited to join our feast with us on Tuesday at 2:30 pm! Or for “set up” at 2:00.

If you would like to bring in a “side item” (such as grape leaves, pita bread, hummus, etc.) that your family enjoys to share, please feel free! — it is a FEAST AFTER ALL 😉

Thank you, Mrs. Fowler and Mrs. Rawson

1st marking period Awards Celebration 9:00 am tomorrow (Tuesday) in the gym!!

I sent an invitation home and wrote on your child’s NOVEMBER calendar if they are receiving an award at this 1st celebration assembly. It was hard to pick but please remember if they do not get an award at this celebration, it means they can be happy for their friends and work hard to earn one at the next assembly— we will have 3 celebrations like this during the school year. Please know ALL parents are invited to celebrate student success even if your child is not receiving an award this time. Thank you!!!
