Homework and Reminders 12-20-19

  1. Oakman Folder- sign and return behavior calendar for DECEMBER! See spirit week flyer—2 red booklets were sent home yesterday to complete over winter break/month of January— start with booklet with numbers 1-2 on the front which we have done most of in class (see completed ones as “example”) then begin and finish booklet with numbers 3-4 on the front be THE END OF JANUARY. The space to draw a picture is a way to respond (make a connection) to the text (story). We are working on making sure our sentence matches the picture. Your kid will need SOME assistance completing this book but should do the circling words, underlining, drawing, and writing on their own. Again this won’t be due until end of January so work on a little each day. (at least 15 minutes of reading EVERYDAY!!!!)

2. Reading bag- ***30 TOTAL***NEW SIGHT WORDS ARE IN THEIR BAGS am, do, not, who, with— I, like, the, see, we,  go, can, she, a, atis, was, willhe, has, onin, and, you,  up, look, it, my, to, and dog. Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!* And work on using them correctly when speaking in COMPLETE SENTENCES for example: He (when talking about a boy) vs. She (when talking about a girl).
