Our NWEA math test is tomorrow, please make sure to get a good nights sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and be ready to do your BEST on the Test (take your time, check your answers, listen to questions and answer choices carefully!!)

NWEA TESTING IS HERE:

(TOMORROW!!) Tuesday, January 14th will be Math

(NEST WEEK) Thursday, January 23rd will be Reading

The NWEA test is a VERY important piece of data that helps us determine if your child is on track and ready for 1st grade (along with other pieces of information, such as DRA, math checklists, various performance tasks, etc.)

It also allows us to see areas of strengths and weaknesses.  This allows us to focus instruction and provide challenging lessons at their level.

It is important that students are prepared, take their time and take this test seriously. This is an online assessment and will be administered completely on a computer.

As discussed at parent teacher conferences in the fall, each student has a growth goal for this test.  We will be sending a NWEA report home with their report card to show you how they did and if the met their goal.

Thank you for your support to help each child do their BEST on this important TEST!

Mrs. Rawson and Mrs Fowler
