READ every day and focus on fluency and comprehension. To move UP reading levels students need to be able to read the words accurately and COMPREHEND (understand what I read). After reading books, please practice using the handout for the “retelling rope” see picture below!! (Don’t forget to ask your child– what was your favorite part of the story and WHY? or what did this story remind you of?)

Please do one lesson per day one for Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. DO ONE LESSON PER DAY. Watch the video and then do the lesson use the homework helper to help you.
