Just a reminder that tomorrow (Friday, September 18th) is a HALF DAY!! This means that we will say “goodbye” on ZOOM at lunch time (11:45). Students will only have 1 afternoon schoology assignment- Math VIDEO lesson- no packet pages.. take the afternoon off and have a long, nice weekend!!

***NEXT WEEK*** we will start our one-on-one assessment appointments. This is what you signed up for at orientation but since we had some help with NWEA computer testing and are making a flexible schedule for zoom next week, we can get more assessments done sooner!!! This means we will be able to start leveled reading groups sooner than planned which is great news!!

Check out some idea for organizing an at home work space. Next week I will have some one on one in-person (at school) appointments available if you have questions or need help with anything. Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons 2pm-4pm I will be available at the school next week, please send me an email if you would like to schedule a time to come in for help with navigating schoology oro a “walk through” of how to submit assignments.

Please over the weekend take some time to organize your at home learning space. I will be scheduling some virtual “home visits” soon to check out your learning area at home and to ask and answer parent and student questions about virtual learning!

When you submit an assignment, choose the microphone, and then chose the one with the triangle for “Audio & Video”! Remember 1 assignment video for math each day this week– if you missed a day- go back! You can submit even if “late”— this is to help establish routines, expectations, and practice using schoology. Let me know if you need help, but I have gotten many AWESOME videos, look for your individual video feedback from me after you submit your assignment!!!
