Tonight’s Homework:

1. Folder- Handwriting practice for sight words

2. Reading Bag Activities and MyOn website (this information was given at conferences, ALL students logged on and took interest/pretest today in the computer lab so they are ready to read/be read to on the computer! Please read 15-20 minutes each night.

3. Math Bag Activities and Extra Math website please do math 15-20 minutes each night!

**Please remember that these websites will help your child do better on the NWEA test since it is on the computer and similar to test questions they will see

***I added a NWEA link on the top of this blog which also has some great resources and website that you can do to practice at home with your child. We will take the NWEA test again in January and know WE CAN DO BETTER!

Reminders:

1. Tomorrow there will be popcorn in the morning (50 cents) and pizza after school!

3. Math bag – 15 minutes each day please work on addition and subtraction flashcards with cubes. work on counting to 100 using numbers chart and going to extra math website to practice math facts on the computer

1. Folder- sight word practice, use sight words to complete the sentences. Look at the pictures to help you figure out the missing word. (2 sides to this paper!)

2. Reading Bag activities- 15 minutes (this includes 5 minutes using Reading website MyOn). There is no new sight word this week since it is a short week.

3. Math Bag activities- 15 minutes (this includes 5 minutes using Reading website Xtra Math). Please use counting cubes and flashcards to work on addition (put together) and subtraction (take away).
