1. Folder- practice spelling and graphing using tally marks

2. Reading Bag- informational books, sight words, and MYON– 20 minutes and record on April reading log

3. Math Bag- telling time and shapes book

Reminders:

If you are able to come on the field trip with us, please return the background check to the office TOMORROW– we need volunteers so that we can have 3 or so students in each group.  It works much better to have small groups, but we need parents to come!!!

We will be going to the zoo on Wednesday, May 27^th.  If you would like to be a parent chaperon you must agree to the following:

1. Fill out the Volunteers and Chaperons Background check form (attached) and return to OFFICE (they must see your driver’s license or photo ID) by May 1^st

2. Be willing and able to be responsible for a group of 2-4 students (depending on number of parents attending)

3. Be willing and able to drive your own car or carpool with other parents (you will need to pay $6.00/ car to park)

4. The cost for parents is $5.00 so please send in $10.00 for you and your child by May 15^th

5. You may not bring other children with you.

TOMORROW is the LAST movie night of the year.  It will begin at 4pm.  You must be with an adult.  The cost is $2.00 and includes popcorn.  PTA will also be having a bake sale if you can donate items, please send them to school with your son/daughter tomorrow.

Tonight’s Homework:

1. Folder: had sight word paper and telling time to the hour (you can you the yellow clock in math bags to help)

2. Reading bag: new sight word “had” and informational books— ask, “What is the topic?”  and “What did you learn?” after each book— each student has 4 leveled informational books.

3. Math Bag- read shapes book, talk about 2D (flat) shapes, like circle, square, and triangle and 3D shapes like sphere, cone, etc.

Tomorrow there is school store after school.
