If you would like to buy/make Valentine’s cards, please make sure to get at least 23— we have 20 friends in the class, plus myself, Ms. Bost, and Mr. Abu Rus, if you want to make/buy cards for specials teachers (Ms. Torres, Mrs. Farnaryz, Mrs. Gruz, and Mr. Lesniak) that would be 27 valentine cards.

Valentine’s cards if you CHOOSE to participate MUST be dropped off to Oakman TODAY at door 1 by 3:30pm!!!

Valentines cards are a FUN way to show kindness and friendship to others!!!!

Here us a heads up for next week’s schedule. I will explain it on Monday but our ZOOM Valentine’s PARTY will be on Wednesday afternoon— pick up AT OAKMAN must be done before the PARTY so you have your cards and supplies (11:45-1:45— door 1)

Who wins

In most Super Bowl squares, a winner will be determined at the end of the first quarter, second quarter, third quarter, plus the final game score. The winner is decided by looking at the last number in each teams’ score and then matching those digits on the grid to see where the squares intersect.

For example, if the score at the end of the first quarter is Chiefs 7, Bucs 3, the first quarter winner would be:

That process would play out for the second and third quarters as well. If the final score was Bucs 31, Chiefs 24, the final score winner would be:

Although some square formats and payouts vary, the standard scoring is the winners of the first, second, and third quarters would receive 20% of the pot each, and the final score (4th quarter) would receive the remaining 40%. Check with the square organizer for specifics.

We are learning about SEASONS.. today our focus is on the season of WINTER. We did a Mystery Science and learned how polar animals survive the cold. PLEASE complete the next page in your SEASONS BOOK for winter— remember to cut out pictures for WINTER from the last page in the book.

Once your SEASONS book is complete, it will be a SCHOOLOGY VIDEO ASSIGNMENT TO “read” your book so make sure you are completing the pages assigned!!!
