This weekend’s homework:

1. Folder- #5 bag, complete paper and find a set of 5 to bring to school to share.  For example. 5 buttons or 5 crayons
2. Reading bag- sight words, book, and ABC chart
3. Math Bag- count to 100 and write numbers 0-10

Reminders:

1. Our field trip to the apple orchard is MONDAY.  Students need to dress appropriately (WARM) and PACK A LUNCH FROM HOME.  Please arrive to school ON TIME.  We will go over expectations and use the bathroom before getting on the bus around 9:15.  We are expected to return around 2pm but pick up is regular time (3:35).
2. Starting next week, PTA will be collecting $1.00 for pumpkin patch and $1.00 for candy bags.  Please send in $2.00 by Friday, October 23 if you would like them to participate in these activities.

Tomorrow at 8:50 Mr. Awada is having a principal’s corner meeting.  After the meeting if you are able to help with some apple activities in class, such as tasting and painting, please let me know.  Tomorrow is a half day (students are release at 11:45).

Monday, October 19th is our field trip.  Parents who are attending may need to drive if we do not get background checks back in time (we will let you know tomorrow).  Thanks for your understanding in this.

Monday, 10-12 is a fire safety assembly.  Please have your child wear RED to school to support our firefighters and for a school picture with the firetruck.

Tuesday 10-13 field trip permission slips and money are due.  It is $8.00 for students and adults.
