Tonight’s Homework:

  1. Folder- short a word scamble
  2. Reading Bag- Letter/Sounds Digraphs and Blends chart, sight words, and books! *****Students should go on MYON to listen to reading with their LOGIN/PASSWORD cards located on the front of their reading bag for 15-20 minutes EACH DAY. For March is reading month there is a MYON MINUTES competition so PLEASE LISTEN EACH NIGHT!!! If you are unable to do MYON at home, please go to the open computer lab at 8am before school to do your MYON reading with Mrs. Dakroub.
  3. Math Bag- practice our NEW game using the 120s chart and dice! Try out our new math website we are using in class! https://illuminations.nctm.org/Activity.aspx?id=3565

Reminders:

  1. Please make sure to pack a lunch for Monday’s field trip!!  Please pack it in a bag with your child’s name on it.  Parents attending need to be here by 9am even if you are driving so we can go over field trip expectations.

When: Monday, March 14th, 2016 from 4-5:30pm

Why: Our Family Literacy Night is your opportunity to share the joy of reading at school with your children. We invite you to participate as a family unit, in several activities during the course of the evening.

What to expect: There will be a variety of activities you and your family can choose from. Join the staff for a super night of reading and writing activities!

-At all times children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sam’s Club will be here. Did you know you can use your Bridgecard at Sam’s Club to buy groceries? No other warehouse offers you this convenience. Come purchase your membership for $45 and get a $10 giftcard towards your first visit just for signing up!

Pizza and baked goods will be sold in the cafeteria at 5:15 pm. There is no Book Bingo in the cafeteria, however the Book Fair will be open for business.

Technology workshop tomorrow at 2pm

Hello Parents,

It is time for our final Parent Computer Workshop session. Please join us this Friday, March 11th @ 2:00 pm upstairs in the computer lab. You will review and learn new computer skills such as helping your child at home as well as how to use Google (drive, sending emails, the translate feature.) Each adult will have their own computer to work on. Please try to keep children at home.

لقد حان الوقت لاجتماع الاهالي الاخير لمادة التكنولوجية وذلك نهار الجمعة الواقع في 11 اذار\مارس الساعة الثانية بعد الظهر. سوف يقوم الاهل بالتعرف والتعلم على مهارات جديدة على الكمبيوتر مثل مساعدة اولادكم في الواجبات المنزلية واستعمال الغوغل وارسال البريد الالكتروني والترجمة. يقوم كل شخص باستعمال الكمبيوتر الخاص به في غرفة الكمبيوتر. الرجاء عدم احضار الاطفال.
