1. Tracing spelling words & practice letter “Uu” — sight words: into, this, not & -un word family
2. Reading Bag- sight words, and books! *****Students should go on MYON to listen to reading with their LOGIN/PASSWORD cards located on the front of their reading bag for 15-20 minutes EACH DAY. If you are unable to do MYON at home, please go to the open computer lab at 8am before school to do your MYON reading with Mrs. Dakroub.
3. Math Bag- practice addition and subtraction!

Hello Parents,
Join us tomorrow on Tuesday, May 17 at 9 am for a parent meeting on Suicide Awareness. More and more we are hearing about our youth falling into depression, having extreme conflict within themselves and with their peers then turning to suicide. Our goal at ACCESS and Oakman School is to help parents understand the warning signs of suicide and how to help prevent. Your children may be small now, but middle school, high school and college are the critical years where children are affected by depression so let us be informed.
Then at the end of the week ,on Friday May 20 at 9am, we will discuss Mandated Reporting. We want to inform parents about what is and is not considered to be child abuse, the role of Child Protective Services, and to address fears and misconceptions about it.

الاهل الكرام,
شاركونا يوم غد الثلاثاء 17 ايار\مايو الساعة 9 صباحا للبحث والتوعية بموضوع الانتحار حيث نسمع هذه الايام عن الكثير من مشاكل الاكتئاب بين الشباب والذين يعانون من الصراع الداخلي ومع اصدقائهم . ان هدفنا في المركز العربي ومدرسة أوكمن ان نرشد الاهل عن اعراض الاكتئاب وكيفية منعها . قد يكون ولدكم لا يزال صغيرا ولكن قد تستفيد من هذه المعلومات في المراحل المتوسطة والثانوية والجامعية.
كما ان نهار الجمعة 20 ايار\مايو الساعة 9 صباحا سنتحدث عن التقارير المطلوبة. كما نود اعلام الاهل عن موضوع تعذيب الاولاد, ودور مكتب الخدمات الوقائية ومعالجة المخاوف والمغالطات عن مكتب الخدمات.
