This weekend’s homework:

1. Folder- please complete the APPLE OF MY EYE paper with your child, please include a photo as this paper will be displayed in the classroom.
2. Reading Bag- Practice all sight words, the, to, a, and, I— students should know ALL of these by themselves…students got 3 NEW books today, remember 3 ways to read a book!  Also work on letters and sounds using the ABC chart, also students NEED to know all the letters in their name and be able to write it by this point in the year— we will be assessing this NEXT week!
3. Math Bag- practice counting to 100 by 1’s and 10’s using number chart

Dear Parents,

Our field trip to the apple orchard on Monday, 10-10-15.  We will leave on the bus at around 9:15.

Some things to remember:

Dress appropriate for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for being outside.

We will be leaving school around 9:15.  ALL students will need to use the restroom before we get on the bus.  If you think your child, may have difficultly on the long bus ride, please send in a change of clothes.

ALL students and parents chaperons must pack a lunch and bring a drink.  NO GLASS!

Parents that are driving, we will give you a Google map to the orchard.

*If you are a parent interested in going, please contact me or Amged in the office to make sure your I-check form is completed (this paper was given to all parents in our beginning of the year packet but many did not return to office with a photo ID and are therefore incomplete).  It is $12.00 for each parent.
