Once upon a time, there was a king and queen who lived together in their huge castle in the woods.  They were very happy and lived a good life.  One day the king was going about his normal day until he realized his crown was missing!! He always wore it on his head and it was suddenly gone!!!  He got was so upset and ran around the castle looking for it everywhere!! He looked under the bed, he looked in the closet, he looked under the rugs, he looked everywhere!!! He could not find it and got more and more mad!  Next, he looked outside… he looked under the trees, he looked behind the bushes, he looked next to the flowers, he looked everywhere!!! He could not find it!!! He was so HOT from running around outside that he decided to go back in the castle and take off his cape to cool down.  He laid the cape on his bed and saw the crown was glued to his back the whole time… he looked over and the queen was laughing at the trick she played on him!

Tomorrow is Dr. Seuss’ Birthday– Let’s celebrate with green eggs and ham (halal hot dogs)?!?!?

We would like to celebrate with green eggs and ham (halal hot dogs).  It would be great if we could have it warm and without proper cooking available near the classroom so I am wondering if a parent would be willing to volunteer to bring in some colored green scrambled eggs and half a hot dog for the class (24 students).  We would like to having a Dr. Suess birthday party from 2:30-3:00 TOMORROW!!!  Let me know ASAP if you are able to attend/help out!!  rawsonm@dearbornschools.org   Thank you!!!
