 Tonight’s Homework:

  1. Folder-  sign the behavior chart each night.— put math page 191-192 in folder for me to checkl
  2. Reading Bag- new sight words for this week: “when” and “this”…. ** REMEMBER top 3 MYON minutes for the month of May will win lunch with the teacher so READ! Read! READ!!!– 15-20 minutes EACH NIGHT!
  3. Math Bag- we are doing more base ten this week— please do page 191-192 at home, directions on the bottom—same as we did in class today so students should be familiar with finding groups of 10 to make teen numbers, such as 10 and 2 makes 12—also work on correct NUMBER FORMATION!
  4. Spelling– write your spelling words—right your words three times each— if you forgot your spelling notebook— any paper is fine!!!

Spelling Words for Week of May 15.  Test is Friday, May 19th

Reminders:

It is getting hotter outside and in our classroom, please remember to bring a water bottle with your name on it to keep on your desk.

Tigers game on Thursday, May 18 all day, if you are not attending it is an unmarked absence.

  3. Math Bag- we are doing more base ten this week—please read family letter on page 185 and do activity on page 186— Do page 187-188 if you have not already done so
  4. Spelling– write your spelling words—write your words in a sentence— if you forgot your spelling notebook— any paper is fine!!!

Wednesday: Clean Up Parade at 1;30.  Join us!

Dear Parents,     

Join us this Wednesday, May 10th at 1:30  pm for Oakman’s Clean-Up Parade.

The students, the Mayor and many city/school dignitaries will be taking the

route below and walking through the neighborhood with our students and

staff. Follow along with your child’s teacher or sit outside your porch if

you live on Diversey, Steadman or Gould St and give us a wave as we

parade on by! Go Oakman Lions!

Join us this Wednesday, May 10th at 1:30  pm for Oakman’s Clean-Up Parade.

The students, the Mayor and many city/school dignitaries will be taking the

route below and walking through the neighborhood with our students and

staff. Follow along with your child’s teacher or sit outside your porch if

you live on Diversey, Steadman or Gould St and give us a wave as we

parade on by! Go Oakman Lions!

  3. Math Bag- we are doing base ten this week—DO PAGE 183-184 TONIGHT, PUT IN YOUR FOLDER FOR ME TO CHECK
  4. Spelling– write your spelling words in a sentence and DO A PRACTICE TEST!!— if you forgot your spelling notebook— any paper is fine!!!
