1. Folder— sign behavior calendar FOR  December!   Sight word paper for “can”

 

2. Reading Bag-

#1 Reading Group Book (black at white copy) fill out on READING LOG!  Some students have a new yellow log in their bags!

#2 Practice ALL 19 sight word cards including NEW word “can”

#3 Play Letter Name Game!   *Remember to make the SOUND for each letter as you play!!  Try to also name an object that BEGINS with that sound, For example… B—/B/—Ball.

***These are the 3 JOBS they do EVERYDAY at READ TO SELF time and NEED to practice at home EACH NIGHT AS WELL FOR 15 MINUTES!  Please remember the OAKMAN READ TO HOME PLEDGE!!!

3. Math Bag- Math Workbook Unit 2 needs to be complete by December 22– Please continue doing a page each night!

Reminders:

Please send in a snack for December.

Field Trip Permission Slips AND $10 due TOMORROW Friday, December 8th!!!

Letter Jj bag!

Today we talked about the letter Jj and its /j/ sound, like in jam, jar, jump etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the j sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Thursday, December 7th).  Thank you!

Important Message for families with 4 year olds in Dearborn– help spread the word to others you know

Wayne County has provided a very short timeline for the district to apply for new GSRP slots.

Attention: Families with Preschool age children who are 4 years of age by December 1, 2017.  There is an immediate possibility of free full day preschool beginning in January 2018 in the Dearborn Public Schools (next month). The family must be eligible based on risk factors and not currently enrolled in a GSRP program.  If interested, families may pick up an application at the Cotter Early Childhood Center, 13020 Osborn or call Nadia Berry at 313-827-6150.
Please respond immediately as slots are limited.
Families must live in the city of Dearborn.
