1. Folder— sign behavior calendar for JANUARY!—“he” paper! Also, Have your child look for this word in books and talk to them about how to use it properly in a sentence (for a BOY). Have them use the word in a sentence they come up with! For additional practice have them write the word 3 times and write it in a sentence!
Long U WORD bag!— if you didn’t bring today, tomorrow is last chance!!
Today we talked about WORDS that have a long u sound like, juice, blue, glue, cube, etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that have the long u sound in the WORD and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Tuesday, January 23rd). Thank you!
2. Reading Bag-
#1 Reading Group Books—fill out READING LOG for NEW book! Students have a pink log in their folders!

3. Math Bag- Math Workbook Units 3 and 4 need to be completed before our February Break.– Please continue doing a page each night! This is also GOOD PRACTICE FOR NWEA MATH!!! We take our NWEA MATH test on January 26th.

We need more black, thin dry erase markers, PLEASE! The Expo brand works best if you are able to donate to our class!
THIS Friday, January, 26 is a half day for the end of the marking period.
