  1. Folder— sign behavior calendar for March! COLOR NEW MINION READING LOG and

Color your NEW minion reading log! KEEP in FOLDER all WEEK to record your minutes on the back (write your name on the back, fill in and READ for 15 minutes each night!!!!! )

 ** If you read 15 minutes EACH NIGHT (Oakman Read at Home Pledge!) you will raffle tickets at the end of the week to be enter into a drawing to go to a SPECIAL MINION THEMED PARTY at the end of the month hosted by Mrs. McMahon.

2. Reading Bag- Please read ALL books in your bag, especially your reading group ones!!!!!!!!!***Practice ALL 40 sight word cards including NEW word “went.” Students will be tested next week over ALL their sight words so make sure to practice!!!!

3. Math Bag– Practice using 100 chart to count to 100 by 1’s, 5’s, and 10’s.  Try without chart! Try in a song! Try writing numbers!  (MIX IT UP! MAKE IT FUN!) Check out our new homemade rekenrek to add and subtract to 20.

4. Green Math Work Book- page 15 MATH PAGE IN GREEN WORKBOOK TONIGHT* (lesson 4 homework page) Please do not go ahead in workbook.

Tomorrow is our  Skating  Field Trip at Lincoln Park!!! Pack a lunch, wear gym shows, and be to school ON TIME!  Parents who are attending, make sure to be here by 9:00AM.   They do have special skates and skate gate to help beginner skaters so it should be a fun day for all!  Parents too!!! 🙂

Fundraising baskets are on display in the hallway by the office and tickets can be purchased before and after school for $.50 each. The drawing for winners will be one week from today at the bingo for books night after school. We had another special guest reader for march is reading month. And we learned about number bonds in math today using Hulu hoops! Make sure to do your homework and your green workbook tonight and return it to school tomorrow !!!
