Jumpstart for incoming Kindergarten and Young 5 students will begin tomorrow Monday, August 6 to Thursday, August 9 from 9:00am-12:00pm.  Breakfast will be served starting at 8:35. Please have your child come in through door 10.

Summer Slide Prevention at Oakman

Has your child been reading everyday?

In order to prevent Summer Slide or learning loss throughout the Summer, Oakman School will be open on Mondays. On these days, our amazing Oakman teachers will be volunteering their time to work with students on reading, writing and math skills.

Your child can come in on Mondays between 12:30 and 2:30pm to work with an Oakman teacher. While not necessary, your child can bring their Bridges Summer workbook to work on.

Please plan to bring your child in on any of  the following days between 12:30 and 2:30pm

Reminders for TOMORROW!! Last day of school and kindergarten celebration at 10:00 am in the classroom!

Please dress up tomorrow for our parade and ceremony!

The celebration starts at 10:00 am in the classrooms where they will show you some special writing and projects we have made.

We will parade through the school around 10:30 and end in the cafeteria where students will sing their songs, get certificates, and cupcakes and juice.

After the ceremony, you are required to come back to the classroom in order to take home all materials and REPORT CARDS!!!  Students will be dismissed after we are finished! (approximately 11:30, school officially dismisses at 11:45– all grades)

 

1 more day! Looking forward to see all the parents at 10:00!

(school starts at regular time and there is breakfast!)

3rd, 4th and 5th Grade: 2:15 – 3:00

Wednesday:

5th grade Promotion Ceremony at 1:30 in the cafeteria

Young 5s Celebration at 10:30

Thursday:

Kindergarten Celebration at 10:00, We will begin in our classrooms and then move to the cafeteria for songs, certificates, and CUPCAKES!!!

HALF DAY: dismissal at 11:45
