Dear Families,

My name is Ms. Jennifer Bost. I am the Early Childhood Specialist here at Oakman Elementary and at Howard elementary.  This year I will be working alongside Mrs. Fowler and Mrs. Rawson during reading and writing instruction.  We had a great year last year and our students learned so much and became such strong readers and writers! We are looking forward to working with your children this year and can’t wait to help them grow and blossom as well!

On Thursday August 9, 2018, I will be having a short parent meeting in the Cafeteria after the children go to class with their teachers. Both young fives parents and Kindergarten parents are welcome.  During this meeting I will share some ideas with you to help you support your child’s education at home. I will go over some reading and writing activities as well as math activities that you can do with your child.  I will also be able to answer some questions and concerns that you might have for the upcoming year.

Looking forward to meeting you!
Ms. Jennifer Bost

We had a great first day of jump start!!! Excited to see you all tomorrow! Parents please mark your calendars that on Thursday at 9am there will be a parent worksheet in the cafeteria with Ms. Bost!!!
