Great Job with NEW Reading Group Bags!!!!
Thank you for practicing reading group books with your child (pointing at EACH word clearly) and filling out the reading log in their bag. Students will be getting a new book EVERY OTHER DAY to start. Tonight please read books again and challenge them by asking them questions after they read, such as “Point to the word is on page 4. OR Can you point to a word that starts with the /h/ sound? ETC.
Thanks for your help with this!!! To SHOWS who practices at home and who does not. This is SOOOO important so we can start getting new books daily and make all our our kindergartners CONFIDENT READERS who read AT GRADE LEVEL (DRA level 3/4) books by the end of the year!!!!
Parents+Teachers=Success!!!
