Tonight’s Homework:

1. Folder- letter Ww and sight words (new word on) AND spelling!!! please read the kindergarten spelling letter and let me know if you have any questions.  Practice the words a few minutes EACH night so you are ready for the test on Friday!!

2. Reading Bag- Books, MYON, and sight word cards (new card: on)

3. Math Bag- counting and comparing groups, counting to 100

Reminders:

Tomorrow we have gym.  Please send in gym shoes if your child wears boots to school.

Tomorrow we have NWEA testing for MATH.  Today we did reading and most students made a lot of improvement.  The ones who did not make an improvement in their score, rushed and did not take their time.  Please discuss with your child that this is a TEST not a computer game and they need to know what they know!!  This test is one of many pieces of information that we look at to see if they are ready for 1st grade or if they need another year of kindergarten.
