1. Reading bag- 40 TOTAL NEW SIGHT WORDS ARE IN THEIR BAGS— come, for, are, said, this, one, little, play, me, here, am, do, not, who, with, I, like, the, see, we, go, can, she, a, at, is, was, will, he, has, on, in, and, you, up, look, it, my, to, and dog. Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!* TEST will be February 25-28, 2020 see practice paper in the folder.**
2. READING GROUP BAG — Everyone has a couple books to read over break, please read every day. READ every day and focus on fluency and comprehension.To move UP reading levels students need to be able to read the words accurately and COMPREHEND (understand what I read). After reading books, please practice using the handout for the “retelling rope” see picture below!! (Don’t forget to ask your child– what was your favorite part of the story and WHY? or what did this story remind you of?)

3. Math Homework MODULE 4 Book, Lesson 10-15 — homework helper lesson 10 is on page 39 and homework is on page 41 and 42, lesson 11 homework helper page 43 and homework on page 45 and 46, lesson 12 homework helper page 47 and homework on page 49 and 50, lesson 13 homework helper page 51 and homework on page 53, lesson 14 homework helper page 55 homework page 57, and lesson 15 homework helper page 59 and homework page 61.

Please do one lesson per day one for Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. DO ONE LESSON PER DAY. Watch the video and then do the lesson use the homework helper to help you.

4. Spelling Notebook:

Look over the new spelling list for the -ig family is in notebooks, start practicing!

5. NEW library books were chosen on Tuesday. Students can keep at home and return after Mid-Winter break (Monday, Feb. 24) and we will check out new books on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

6. Kindergarten Timeline Project directions are in the folder today. Please follow directions and return to school on Monday, February 24, to present to the class.
