Overall, I am really impressed with how the students did with their first big math assessment over numbers zero through 10 this week. The students were tested one on one with me and had to manipulate numbers using cubes, dot cards, and number cards. They also had to write their numbers with correct formation. Our new math program is working and it really shows which students are consistently doing their homework each night from their green workbooks.  Also, it shows which students are participating and engaged when we do lessons in class. They love the games we play and we are working on getting our computer program Zearn up and running in the classroom so they can practice more at home. We will send more information home soon about The zearn Online learning practice that can be accessed through the website and not through clever as we had thought.
