This month we will continue to focus on classroom expectations and good citizenship.  We will also be exploring using our 5 senses to learn about pumpkins and apples.  In reading, we will use Daily 5 to build stamina and independence to help your children become readers.  This month they will be put into reading groups and be given LEVELED books in their reading bags- please keep reading nightly at home. In math, we will be working with numbers 0-10 and in writing, we will be working on adding details to pictures to tell a story.  Please continue to help support what we are learning in school by doing homework with your child each night!
