Math- Lesson 28– watch video on schoology if you missed it on ZOOM this morning then do your VIDEO ASSIGNMENT FOR today!!– make sure to use your cubes to show me your math fluency task AND make sure say the colors as you show the missing numbers on your pages.

Reading: please go on READING EGGS for 15 minutes of independent work!! Here is a how to video… this is a great program paid for by the district so PLEASE make sure your child is going on EACH DAY for 15 minutes!!! I will be checking in to see that everyone is going on for at least 15 minutes EACH DAY!! Please email me if you have any questions about how to get on… rawsonm@dearbornschools.org

BENCHMARK ONLINE READING ASSIGNMENTS: Please do your Benchmark assignment for letter i games by the end of the week SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18th it is DUE. It looks like this:

Writing: Please do the next page in your writing packet. Watch the “J song” to pick 3 words that start with J!!! and then write your Js and j’s neatly in your packet— remember packets will be dropped off/turned in when complete so do your best!!

Reminders:

READING GROUPS WILL START NEXT WEEK— please watch the video explaining how you will EACH meet once a week in-person AT OAKMAN and once a week ON ZOOM and your assigned day and time— this schedule will followed for many weeks and hopefully will not be changing so you can make plans to be AT OAKMAN or ON ZOOM on your day/time each week!!!

Please make sure to finish Benchmark packet pages and cutting sight words by the end of the week!!

Sight word packet must be cut in put in bags as shown by end of the week– put the cards “she” and “can” in the bag with a star. This are words we are learning this week and she be memorized.

Benchmark Packets for phonics and grammar need to be done (2 pages in each as pictured) by Friday, October 16th– end of unit week 1. YOU HAVE UNTIL SUNDAY TO HAVE ALL WEEKLY ASSIGNMENTS COMPLETE!!!!

Leveled books (black and white books) will be used from reading groups. The schedule will be coming soon for next week. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO TAKE SPECIAL CARE OF THESE BOOKS!!! They will need to be returned to school in same condition or you will charged $$$ to replace them!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

The packets will be turned in when completed so please make sure to do you best and please make sure your child is doing the work. Parents may need to help with some pages and check work but please make sure your child is trying, writing, and doing their best to learn these important reading skills.
