Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!
- READING GROUP BAG — TODAY Everyone got a new book or 2 to read three times each tonight, have someone sign when you’re finished. READ every day and focus on fluency and comprehension. To move UP reading levels students need to be able to read the words accurately and COMPREHEND (understand what I read). After reading books, please practice using the handout for the “retelling rope” see picture below!! (Don’t forget to ask your child– what was your favorite part of the story and WHY? or what did this story remind you of?) Story Retelling is KEY to comprehension!!! See if you child can tell you the follow from their books in their bag, library book, and/or NEW book from this week Duck, Duck, Dinosaur!!!

- Tuesday:
Consonants/Vowels!
- Write each spelling word using one color for consonants and another color for vowels. Repeat 2 times.
5. NEW library book were chose Tuesday!! Use these for minutes for reading log challenge for MARCH IS READING MONTH!!! ** 20 minutes everyday!!!***
