The in-class workbook and homework book for MODULE 3 (2 GREEN BOOKS) are being sent home today… PLEASE KEEP BOTH AT HOME!!! There are some pages in the class book (learn).. these can be extra practice if you wish. I did not get to check all the homework (Succeed) books before sending home today as I hoped but don’t want it to be confusing since we get new books Monday. I will say as I am finishing Module 3 testing today it shows who does their homework and has a good understanding of concepts when we have our assessments so please KEEP doing the homework each night (even if I don’t check everyday– it takes a lot of time!) Same goes for Spelling Notebooks— I will periodically check these notebooks like I check math homework books. It showed today who practiced at home and who was ready for the test!! Homework is not graded but effort is noted. Homework is more to reenforce what we are learning in the classroom and it definitely helps students to be prepared when it comes to taking tests!! (and helps them get ready for 1st grade expectations!!!!!)
