Homework— ( 4 things!!!) ***PLUS NEW LIBRARY BOOKS, must return on Monday!!!

2. Reading bag- NEW BOOKS ARE IN BAG!! SIGHT WORDS ARE IN THEIR BAGS— I, like, the, see, we, go, can, she, a, and at. Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS! ***Students will be tested over these 10 words THIS WEEK so practice each night!!**** I am doing 6 students each day and will send a note home how they did after their test!***
3. NEW READING GROUP BAG – RE-read books to be ready to WRITE about our reading tomorrow– work on letter sounds!!! (Also can you login code and password to read/listen to more books on the computer)
Please fill in log each day!!! Please use the pointer finger to put their finger under the first letter of each word as they read. Please read the book at least 3 times and sign the paper inside their bags so I know they did their job! Please send the reading bag back to school each day. GREAT JOB WITH BAGS— read same books tonight for FLUENCY! ***IF YOU HAVE FLUENCY DOWN, PARENTS PLEASE EXTEND the reading by asking questions such as:
- Find the WORD “the” on this page.
- What LETTER do you see at the beginning of the WORD?
- What LETTER do you see at the end of the WORD?
- After reading, can you RETELL what happened?? What happened in the beginning, middle, and end??
4. Math Homework- Lesson 26 homework page 107 (helper on page 105).—Make sure number formation is correct!! If not, ease and try again!! Parents please check as correct number formation is important!
***Make sure all 4 things come back to school in backpacks!!!***
