Homework— (3 things!!!)

1. Oakman Folder- sign and return behavior calendar for September!!— talk to your child about their color… what could they work on? praise for good, etc.  make this a connection from school and home and talk about it everyday— learning “how to go to school” (behavior) is a BIG PART of kindergarten! ***PLEASE FILL OUT LUNCH SURVEY!!!! and FIELD TRIP PERMISSION SLIPS AND MONEY ARE DUE ON MONDAY!

2. Reading/Math Bag-Please take 15 minutes to “read” NEW books each night we talked about three ways to read a book… *read the pictures, *. read the words, *. retell the story. and practice ABCs using chart.

3. Math Homework Workbook– Module 1, lesson 9 on page 39 (homework helper is page 37) . ***REMEMBER 1 page each night!! *****.

***Make sure all 3 things come back to school in backpacks!!! It was another long day – please send in reusable water bottles with your child’s name on it so that they can keep it on the table and drink water all day long. Also, please make sure your child is going to bed early so they can get 10-12 hours of sleep and be ready to learn at school.
