This LONG Weekend’s Homework:

1. Folder-shape sort, color, cut, and glue!
2. Reading Bag- DIGRAPH chart, sight words, books!!— 15-20 minutes EACH Night!
3. Math Bag- shapes book and math games.
4. Social Studies Timeline Project- These projects will be due Tuesday, January 19^th.  Please have your child practice reading each of the sentences on their paper so they can share with the class on Tuesday. 
5. POEM book- please read poems with your child and return the book on Monday.

Reminders:

1. No school Monday (January 18th) for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
2. Tuesday, January 19th we will have NWEA testing for Reading at 9:00 am.  Please make sure your child goes to bed early on Monday night so they are well rested.  Make sure they eat a healthy breakfast and get to school ON TIME!  Please remind them this is an important test and they need to TRY THEIR BEST!!!
3. Thursday, January 21 we will have NWEA test for Math at 9:00 am.
4. Friday, January 22 we will finish NWEA Math if needed.
