Today is the first day  Spring!!  Hopefully we will start to see a change in the weather!!!!

Tonight’s Homework:

1.  study Spelling words for our Spelling test tomorrow, Friday.  The words are:   and   like   up    big    pig  ( and 2 more from the -ig family).

2. The kids should also practice reading their book room books and sight word cards for at least 15 minutes — remember to sign off on reading log!!!

3. Review Letters/Sounds Ll, Bb, Cc

4. Remember to play a Math game from their Math bag with them as often as you can.  Also, please talk to them about time, money and numbers/groups of items that are greater than, less then or equal to each other.  We did comparing today with our snack– get them using the words greater than, less than, least, and most at home!

Reminders:

1. Tonight’s activity for March is Reading Month is to read a book about Spring, flowers, plants, or seasons.

2. LAST DAY for book fair is tomorrow.  It is open before and after school.  The students may also go at lunch/recess time if they have money.
