It was a short week, so I did not send home weekly behavior charts and a newsletter but please look for those next Friday.
This weekend’s homework:
Read from reading bag and practice sight words,
Math bag activities, number cards and shapes. (The new Yellow sheet added today is a reference for mathematical thinking linked to common core.)]
Cards and directions for the “at family bat game” are in folders. We played the game in class so the kids are familiar. The are eager to “scare” you with the bugs!! AND show you how they can READ the cards! This game can be kept at home.
We’re planning a field trip to the apple orchard on October 25th. If you are interested in going, please let me know. Permission slips will go home Monday. It must be filled out completely and returned by WEDNESDAY!! The field trip is on Friday. They will get an apple, a doughnut, and some apple cider so all they need to bring for lunch is a sandwich in a paper bag. No pop or glass bottles are allowed!
If you have any questions, please call the school at 827-6500. I will call you back as soon as I possibly can.
Thank you,
Michelle Rawson
