We ventured to Target for our Community Instruction Oct. 16.  Students were divided into groups and then had a task to complete inside the store.  After their task was done, all students were able to pick out a $2 item to purchase.  We then went to pay for it.

It was a very rewarding trip and another nice learning experience.

Our zucchini chips were supper yummy!  Students worked on slicing, measuring, mixing and eating.  I was very impressed with all of them for working hard and for trying the food.  Check out the pictures under the “what’s cookin” tab.

This week we will be cooking in our classroom. We will be making Zucchini chips!
We will also be going on our CBI Field trip Friday. Our destination is Target.

By now we have all settled into our new home at Nowlin Elementary. It is very exciting to be part of this great staff!
