Learn about healthy habits and activities!

Local vendors will be available to share resources and information!

Winter Celebration
Parents and Children (ages 6 months – 4 years old) are invited to join us on: Friday, February 28th at 8:45 am at River Oaks Elementary for a Winter Celebration! Activities planned:

February 17th- February 21st there will be no school. Enjoy your February Break.

Have a GREAT and well deserved break!!! All book bags have been updated and many students are behind on reading. PLEASE read over the break and students can get on Zearn for math.

February 6th River Oaks will be celebrating our 100th day of school. Students are encouraged to come dressed like an “old person”. Find an old wig, apron, skirt, or dress, a suit or tie to wear. Have fun!

February 5th will be a late start. Buses run one hour later than normal time. Breakfast will be served starting at 9:10.

Mardi Gras 2020 will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 4:30-8:30 pm. Please see Ms. Sandi for tickets. There will be food, drinks, auction, and 50/50. The Education Foundation is a licensed non-profit organization that helps enhance the education that students receive from Dearborn Public Schools through grants to fund technology, equipment, and innovative programs not funded by the schools district’s budget. Tickets are $25.00.

We are preparing for the incoming Kindergarten class. March 25th at 1:30-3:00 pm will be River Oaks Kindergarten Round Up. More information will be coming in March. For the 2020-2021 school year, a child who lives in the school district may enroll in kindergarten if the child is at least 5 years old on September 1, 2020.

Friday, January 31 we will have school store in the morning. Items are priced $0.50-$2.00 each.
