Good Morning! Reminders: There will be a pizza lunch today for Maya’s birthday. Please do not pack a lunch for your child. If you have books for donation, they can be taken today through Friday. Book orders are due this Friday, May 4. Happy Tuesday!

Good Morning! Please turn in field trip money TODAY! You can drop off books for the fundraiser tomorrow through Friday. Color Run money is due Wednesday, May 2. The last book club order of the year is due this Friday, May 4. Great for summer reading. Wednesdays during the month of May will be Michigan Day. Please have your child bring a Show and Tell from Michigan, and wear a Michigan shirt. I received caterpillars over the weekend. I am very excited for the children to see the them transform into butterflies. Each child has their own caterpillar they can watch grow and transform. Have a great week!

The last Scholastic book club flyer will be going home today. Orders will be due Friday, May 4. Great way to get some books for fun summer reading.

There are a lot of important dates coming up for the month of May. I will try and keep sending reminders for this busy month. Field trip money and permission slip for Real Life Farm is due tomorrow. Please turn in or let us know if you will not be attending. Starting this coming Wednesday, May 4 we will be studying Michigan. Please have your child bring in a Show and Tell from our state as well as wearing a shirt from our state. We will conclude the unit with a Made in Michigan ice cream party for the students only. This will be celebrated on Thursday, May 24. Next week, May 1-4 book donations will be taken for our music teacher to purchase a new piano. On Tuesday, May 8 will be the color run. The rain date is May 9. Please send in permission slip with $5 if your child is participating. They are looking for volunteers to run this event. P.T.A. will be sponsoring “Teacher Appreciation Week”. This is the week of May 7-11. They will be sending more information home soon. As you can see more and more fun events will be happening as the school year winds down.

Good Morning! As you may have noticed this morning the D.I.A. is here for an in house field trip. We will be going later on today. They will also be here tomorrow. PLEASE DO NOT PARK in the lot tomorrow. I will be outside again for curbside drop off. Please exit the parking lot quickly so we can keep the traffic flowing. We will be doing this again at drop off and tomorrow. Thank you for cooperating these next couple of days. If for any reason, you need to enter the building, please park in the big lot closer to Warren. Tomorrow it is very important to be on time. We have an assembly at 9:00 sharp. If you are late, you must park in the big lot, then check into the office, then walk your child into the gym. Hopefully, no one will be late tomorrow. Field trip money is due this Friday. Please let us know if your child is not attending this trip. Also we will be participating in the Color Run. Please turn in permission slips and $5 for your child to participate. Have a nice day!

Good Morning! Hope everyone had a great time at the DNR. Our next field trip to the Real Life Farm is due this Friday. During the month of May, we will be doing Michigan month. Every Wednesday your child may bring in a show and tell from somewhere in Michigan. They can wear a Michigan related shirt as well. This is always a fun month learning about our state.
