Today is Michigan Day! Please remember to help your child with a Michigan show and tell. We will have our Michigan ice cream party on Thursday, May 24. If you would like to donate to the party, I will have a sign up today. We will be needing 2 half gallons of Michigan made ice cream. These can be Sanders, Calders, Hudsonville, etc. We will also need Sanders toppings. We are also in need of maraschino cherries. These you may not be able to find made in Michigan. However, since Traverse City is the cherry capitol, these will be acceptable. Thanks in advance if you are donating. Also thanks to everyone who has acknowledge Teacher Appreciation week. Good Morning! Glad everyone had a great time at the farm. We have already booked for next year! Today is the Color Run. There is no alternative for preschoolers who are not participating. If your child is not participating, they will watch and be able to play on the playground. This event takes place at 3:00. Dismissal will take place on the playground since NO ONE is allowed back in the building after the Color Run. Please remember courtesy in the parking lot today. Tomorrow is Michigan Day, Have your child bring a Michigan show and tell. Most children have chose to keep their show and tells in the classroom on display. Happy Tuesday!

Good Morning! We are looking forward to the field trip today. Tomorrow is the Color Run. It takes place at 3:00. We will be dismissing outside since no one will be allowed in the building after the event. P.T.A. has informed the teachers that they will still be taking books up until tomorrow. This is a fundraiser for a piano for the music teacher. If you have any new or gently used children’s books, please consider donating them. P.T.A. also is looking for volunteers to pick up lunch for Teacher Appreciation. They will be ordering it with $5 donations. All they need is for someone to get it and deliver to the school by 11:30. If you can help, please let me know so I can pass it on. Wednesday is Michigan Day. Make sure your child brings a Show and Tell from something made in Michigan. Nothing else will be accepted. We are trying to have the children realize all the products our state has to offer. If they have a Michigan related shirt they can also wear it.

Please let us know if you will be meeting us there. If you have your child come to school that day, they need to be picked up at 9:15 at the latest. Have a good Thursday!

So happy to see the participation we had for Michigan Day. The children really seemed to enjoy it too. Remember we will be doing it every Wednesday in May.
