Good Morning!
With winter quickly approaching, please make sure your child will be dressed appropriately. This includes hats, gloves, boots, and snow pants. We will still be going out during the winter months.
Also make sure your child’s extra set of clothing is updated to warmer clothes. We do not want to send a child home in shorts with the cooler temperatures.
We will be trying something new this year in our classroom. We are asking that your child keeps a pair of slippers at school. This is not only creating a more cozier and comfortable environment, but keeping our classroom dry. Our carpet has pastel colors so we need to keep it clean. Also the tiled floors need to be dry. Please provide your child with slippers as soon as you can.
We are also still in need of pumpkins. These need to be the pie sized pumpkins. Thank you to everyone who has provided them so far.
Some people have not signed up for the Thanksgiving celebration. This is only a little more than a week away.

What a great time we had on the field trip. So glad we were able to get such great discounted tickets too.
Next Friday is our Thanksgiving celebration in the cafeteria from 2-3. Please make sure someone can attend with your child. We don’t want to see anyone sad because no one is there for them.
We still have quite a few things that no one has signed up for. No one is bringing stuffing. We also need more mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls, and beverages. If you have signed up already-thank you! If you have not please do so soon.
We also need a pie pumpkin for your child to do a project. Please bring in the pumpkin as soon as you can.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered today to make it such a success. What a great turn out we had for parent volunteers in the gym, and it the projects in our classroom were so cute!
Friday is a half day. Remember even though it is a half day, your child still needs a backpack. Scholastic book orders are also due Friday. I know this is a busy week, but if you get some free time, take a minute to look over the fliers or website.
Monday is our field trip to Sea Life and Lego Land. We will meet first at Sea Life at 9:45.
Tuesday there is NO SCHOOL.
Please bring in a pie pumpkin for a special project we are doing for Thanksgiving,when you get a chance. The Thanksgiving Celebration will be Friday, November 16 from 2-3. This will be held in the cafeteria. We have been very pleased with how many of your have signed up already. Thank you for that!
There will be NO SCHOOL November 21, 22, and 23 due to Thanksgiving break.
November is going to be a fast but fun-filled month.

Our time in the gym has changed because of the fire drill. I just received an email. The time for the party in the gym is now 12:30-1:15. Fire drill will be from 12:20-12:25 if you want to avoid being part of it.

If anyone would like to bring another child on the field trip, there is an extra ticket. If you are interested please see Ms. Stephanie.
Tomorrow is our Fall Harvest party. Please have your child dress in Fall colors. Remember to bring in a treat for each child. Mr. Borg is still looking for volunteers to help with the party in the gym. We will be attending the party from 12:15-1:00.
The P.T.A. will be hosting a book fair November 13-15. They will also be needing help. If you have a few hours to volunteer, it would be appreciated.

Reminders: This Wednesday is our Fall Harvest Celebration. Please remember to bring a treat to pass for each classmate. Again, please do not send in cupcakes or cookies. There will be a Halloween snack that day. We have 18 students.
Friday is a half day. Your child needs to be picked up no later than 11:45. Friday is also the last day to order books from Scholastic.
Your child will be bringing home November Book-Its today. October Book Its are due on Wednesday.
Next Monday is our field trip. We will see everyone at Sea Life at 9:45. Tuesday, November 6 there is NO SCHOOL.
