Today is purchasing day for the Holiday Boutique. Please make sure your child has money in their envelope. If you forget, they may purchase things tomorrow. Also your child will be bringing home an ornament from the P.T.A. tree. It has suggestions for a classroom gift. Thanks in advance if you choose to donate one of these items.

Tomorrow, December 11 is preview day for the Holiday Boutique. Wednesday, December 12 is the day to purchase the items. Please make sure you send in your envelope and the money. All gifts are $2.00.
Wednesday, December 12 is late start. This is your choice. No one will be marked tardy for that day.
We need one more volunteer to purchase and do a craft with the kids. The holiday celebration is next Wednesday, December 19 from 9-10. Thanks to Julia, Ana, and Amir’s moms for volunteering. Tripp’s mom will be sending in goody bags. If you volunteered for Fall Harvest, you may do so again, since no one else has volunteered.
Also we are still in need of anyone who would like to do a holiday presentation. It came be as simple as reading a book about a winter holiday. Please see me for a time and day.
Winter break is almost upon us. The last day of school is Friday, December 21. We will be returning to school on Monday, January 7.

Our holiday party has been changed to Wednesday, December 19. This is due to the holiday sing-along on the 20th. I hope this is not an inconvenience for anyone. We are still in need of 2 volunteers to provide a craft and do one with the children on the 19th from 9-10. Thank you to Ana’s and Julia’s mom for volunteering, and Torres’s mom for providing goodie bags.
We are also in need of parents to do a presentation on an International holiday. Please check with me for a time and date, if you wish to do this.

We are very appreciative of the generosity of snack coming in. However, lately we have been getting items that are not considered healthy and have a high sugar content. Please refrain from sending these in, and only for special occasions. Some examples are fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese and crackers (we do have a lot of cheese right now), pretzels, and popcorn. As we know, children love the cookies and cakes, but not everyone wants these things for their children. Again, it should only be for special occasions. Thanks in advance for your understanding!
Today your child will be bringing home an envelope for the Holiday Boutique. The Holiday Boutique enables children to buy gifts for friends and family members. The gifts are all $2.00. Preview day is next Tuesday, December 11. Shopping days are December 12 and 13. If you would like your child to participate please fill out the form and return with the money. This is a fun P.T.A. sponsored event.

Picture retake day is this Friday, November 30.
During the month of December we will be celebrating International Holidays. In the past we have done Christmas, Ramadan, Hannakah, Dawali, etc. Parents have given presentations, or provided a craft, or special snack. We are looking for anyone that may be interested in doing a holiday. The presentation can be short due to attention span with young children. The children love when parents volunteer in our classroom. It is a fun time when we can learn about different holidays!
We will have our Winter Holiday celebration on Thursday, December 20. We are in need of 3 adults to volunteer to purchase crafts and come in to make the crafts with the children. This will most likely be from 9-10 a.m. on that day. If you volunteered for the Fall Harvest Party, please give someone else a chance at this time.
