Would anyone like to bring home the chrysalides over the long weekend? I’m afraid that they may emerge into butterflies while we are not in school. It’s very simple to care for them. I will give you all the directions, including a packet for sugar water, if they do turn. All I ask is you bring them back on Tuesday so the class can see them and release them. Please email me if you are interested.

Tuesday: Twin Day (Match like your friends)
Wednesday: Wacky, Ugly Outfit or Hat Day (wear clothes or socks that don’t match, patterns that clash, fun hat)
Thursday: Hawaiian Beach Day (Hawaiian shirts, shorts, hats)
Friday: School shirt or Dearborn shirt

Your child will be coming home with a Michigan travel kit today. A great big thanks to Farah’s mom for getting those for us. This will make for fun traveling this summer. Enjoy with your child!
Please make sure you are on time today. We will start lining up at 8:50 to attend the instrumental concert in the gym. Otherwise you will need to bring your child to the gym.

Yearbooks have arrived for anyone who ordered them. There are extras in the office for $10, if you would like to purchase.
Good Morning! We have noticed many of you have been tardy lately. On Monday, May 20 please try to be on time. We will be attending an instrumental concert put on by our 4th and 5th graders. The concert starts at 9 sharp. If you are tardy, you must walk your child down to the gym.
Wednesday, May 22 is our Michigan ice cream party. Thanks to everyone who has brought in items for the party. Please remember we will still be doing show and tell and wearing Michigan shirts until the end of the month. The last day will be Wednesday, May 29.
We are currently working on progress reports. You will be receiving them in the next week.
Friday, May 25-Monday May 27 there is NO SCHOOL, due to Memorial Day Weekend.
