REMINDER: BOOK CLUB ORDERS ARE DUE TOMORROW. THANKS FOR SUPPORTING OUR CLASSROOM. Friday folders will be coming out this Friday. This will let you know what your child has been working on. We do not put them out every week, due to short weeks and special events. Please do not conference with the teachers at drop off and pick up times. These times are very hectic for us. However, if you have something urgent, you may set up a conference. Conferences for preschoolers are held in January along with progress reports. Thank you for your understanding.

Today your child will be bringing home information for Star Of The Week. Please fill out the information and return the form by next Wednesday, October 11. Tomorrow, Monday October 2nd is “Stand Up To Bullying Day’. The entire school will be wearing blue to take a stance on bullying. Please have your child dress in blue tomorrow. Scholastic orders are due this Thursday, October 5. Since we are participating in the Pizza Hut Book-It program, this would be a great way to get books to read to your child. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

IMPORTANT: Debuck’s pumpkin patch has called today requesting we are all there by 10:15. Please make sure you are there by 10:15 so you won’t miss the hay ride. We have noticed that children are not bringing forks and spoons with their lunches. We do not have any forks to provide for them and are limited on spoons. Please try to provide this for your children. Today, your child will be bringing home Scholastic book club flyers and Pizza Hut Book It. We are hoping everyone participates with both. See you tomorrow at Debuck’s!

Book orders came in today for those who ordered. Thank you very much for helping out our classroom library. Also, Scholastic sent a free “Clifford” book to every child in our classroom. Enjoy. I will be sending home the next set of flyers later this week. These orders will be due next Thursday, October 5. This is a good time to get Halloween books. * I will also be sending home information for the Pizza Hut Book It program. This program runs from October-March. Please read the information carefully, so that your child can receive a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut each month. Lastly, please remember that our field trip is this Friday, September 29. We are looking forward to nice weather and a fun-filled day!

Please keep all toys and jewelry at home. We have had to take away several rings today. This is a distraction for a learning environment. All the children will be able to bring in such items when it is their turn to be Star of The Week.
