Good Morning! Hope everyone had a nice weekend! After much consideration we have decided NO Halloween costumes for our Fall Harvest craft day. Due to time restraints we can not help children with using the bathroom. We also our taking a risk for the children to rip or stain their costume. A good time to wear costumes would be this Friday, October 27 at the all school party. This party is from 6-7:30 p.m. and sponsored by our P.T.A. Have a great Monday!

If you would like to volunteer to help Mr. Borg (gym teacher) to run the school celebration, let me know. He is looking for parent volunteers to arrive at 12:20 on Tuesday, October 31. This may be a good chance if you missed volunteering for our class celebration that day. Our students will be participating in the school party from 12:45-1:30.

Today your child will be bringing home an article which emphasizes how important Montessori is at home. Remember our goal as a team with parents is to foster independence in your child. If you need suggestions for activities, please ask one of the teachers. These activities are very important for a child’s fine motor skills.

On Tuesday, October 31 our classroom celebration will be from 10-11. Lunch time for the children will follow after that. Followed by recess. We will be attending the school party from 12:45-1:30. When we return from that celebration we will have the mandatory 1 hour rest time. If you do choose to send your child in costume that day, please make sure that it is something they can use the bathroom by themselves in. Also be aware that there is always the possibility of stains or tears. This will be entirely up to you. We still need 2 more volunteers for crafts.
