Science (Caterpillars)

For out butterfly unit, have your child watch “The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Our caterpillars will be turning into Painted Lady Butterflies. I have attached a picture of the life cycle and a caterpillar, if they chose to color. I have also posted pictures of the progress a couple of our caterpillars made. Unfortunately, because they traveled for two weeks (which is longer than normal) not all of them are at the same stage. Some didn’t even make it. I have contacted the company, and they are suppose to be sending me more. For now, we will enjoy the healthy ones I received.
