News for the Week of January 13 – 17

Dates to Remember:

Monday, January 13 – Along with homework math packets I will be sending home a Social Studies Timeline – All About Me. We will be learning about the terms present, past and future in Social Studies. To gain a better understanding of these terms I have provided a timeline along with directions.

The timeline is due Tuesday, January 21 on the half day. Students will present their timelines through the week of January 20th and their timelines will be posted outside of the classroom.

Students will also be taking the NWEA Reading Assessment on the computer in the morning. Once I have a date for the NWEA Math Assessment I will let you all know.

Tuesday, January 14 – I will not be in the classroom and I will have a substitute teacher. I will be attending a writing workshop all day.

Friday, January 17 – It will be a half-day of school. Dismissal is at 11:45 am.

There will be no school on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. day. There will be a half day on Tuesday, January 21st. Teachers will be attending district professional development.
