Welcome to my Classroom Blog

I am looking forward to meeting my Kindergarten class and parents this coming Monday, August 27. Next week will be half days for Kindergarten. School will start at 8:35 a.m. and on Monday, August 27 dismissal will be at 11:45. There will be a sign-up sheet for Kindergarten assessments. We ask that you choose a time next week, so that we can assess your child for Kindergarten. Please bring your child for the assessment.

Starting on Tuesday, August 28 and the remainder of the week students will have the opportunity to buy lunch or bring their lunch and dismissal will be at 12:00 p.m. After Labor Day we will begin a full day of Kindergarten 8:35-3:35 p.m.

On Monday your child will bring home a grey take home folder with classroom information. Please take a look at all the information and if you have any questions, please email me at polgarj@dearbornschools.org. If your child will be taking the bus, please make sure you have registered for busing services and let me know that your child is taking the bus also.
