Peek at the Week

Spelling words – “am” family – am, ham, jam.  sight words – you, to, me. A new spelling Tic-Tac-Toe sheet will go home this week for the month of February. Please remember to include word family words and sight words for homework. Students are doing really well on the spelling tests. Students are able to change the first letter in word family words and make new words and are reading/writing their sight words fluently.

Report cards were sent home on Friday along with the NWEA student progress report. If you should have any questions, please let me know.

Please make sure to check your child’s blue folder daily for information and back pack for book bags. Each day or every other day a book bag will go home. Inside book bags are a reading log for parent’s to sign.

Also, red folders went home on Friday. I had troubles with my printer so I could not print out a new form. So, I wrote a progress note on the top of the last progress note. On Friday, I was having technical issues with computers and printers. It was one of those days!

Have a great Superbowl day!
