Dates to Remember
Monday, November 24 – PBIS celebration – Board game fun! 1:30 -2:15 PM. Students that did not have their clip moved 6 or more times, join students in a celebration for positive behavior. Mrs. Polgar’s classroom behavior goal is to have good listening ears and raising our hand when we would like to be heard.
Please have your child bring in a favorite board game that they can share with friends. I have a limited amount of board games in my classroom. Thank you.
Wednesday, November 26 – No school. Students begin Thanksgiving break and have Thursday and Friday off and report back to school on Monday, December 1.
Parent-teacher conferences – I enjoyed meeting all of you and sharing with you the progress your child has made in school. Thank you for your support at home. Partnering together makes great strides in learning. After break, I will begin sending out a quarterly review of learning goals. This will give parents an overview of what learning goals we are targeting in each marking period.
Please have your child dress appropriately for the weather. Your child needs to have boots, gloves, and a hat to play in the snow at recess time. If they do not have boots they will have to play on the black top. Children also need to wear shoes in the classroom. Boots make our carpet wet at carpet time. Thank you.
We have a short week, so there will be no letter of the week or sight word this week. Also, red progress folders will not go home this week.
Students did a great job in presenting their family turkey projects. The turkeys were so creative and fun! Families, thank you for participating in this activity.
Have a great day!
Mrs. Polgar
