Dates to Remember:

Monday, May 14 – NWEA Reading Assessment for Kindergarten.

Spring picture packets need to be returned if you are NOT going to be making a purchase. Otherwise, you can purchase pictures on-line.

Wednesday, May 16 – Late Start – School begins an hour later. I will have a district conference to attend in the morning and will return to school in the afternoon.

Thursday, May 17 – Last day for after school tutoring.

Friday, May 18 – Last day for field trip permission slip to be turned in. Please sign and place admission fee in envelope with child’s name. Also, indicate on form if you would like to chaperone. If you plan on being a chaperone, please make sure you have filled out a chaperone background check in the office.

Wednesday, May 23 – Greenfield Village Field Trip.

Spelling words for the week – “ip” word family – dip, rip, tip, sip, nip, whip   sight words – be, will

Writing/Social Studies – We will focus on “Michigan Week” and will be studying the state of Michigan along with making a Michigan booklet.

Math – elements of time – learning about clocks and reading a clock to the nearest hour and half hour.
