Dates to Remember:

Monday, April 24 – A new spelling list will go home along with spelling notebooks. Red folders did not go home last week. Folders will go home this Friday.

Wednesday, April 26 – Library check-in and check-out. Spring Music Concert K-2 at 6:30 pm. Students need to arrive at 6:15 pm and meet in the cafeteria. The concert will be held in the gym.

Friday, April 28 – PBIS Celebration for the Month of April.

Spelling words for the Week – “op” family – hop, mop, pop  sight words – on, jump

I have been working with students in preparation for the NWEA/Spring test. Last week students took the ELA (English Language Arts) portion of the test. This week students will take the Spring/NWEA standardized test for Math.

Monday, May 15 – Detroit Zoo Field Trip – I have received a number of responses to chaperone on the field trip. Please make sure you have a background check form on file in the office. If not, please fill out the form in the office. It takes several weeks to process the information. Thank you for volunteering.
