Dates to Remember

Wednesday, May 27 – Return library books. There will be no more check out times in the library.

Wednesday, May 27 – Detroit Zoo Field Trip – we will leave promptly by 9:10 am and will return to school by 2:30 pm. Don’t forget a brown bag lunch with your child’s name on it. No lunch boxes – disposable items only. Parent’s that are meeting us at the zoo, please meet by the front entrance and we will enter as a group.

Don’t forget to put sunblock on your child for the day and make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Not sure if it will rain? It may be a good idea to have a rain poncho for rainy weather.

Chaperones, please meet at school by 9am. Please remember you will need a back-pack or tote to carry your group’s lunch bags. The following parents will chaperone small groups on our trip.

Friday, May 29 – Spelling test.  Spelling words for week.  “ip” family words – dip, hip, lip

Sight words – was, that, on.

There will be no more homework packets for the remainder of the year. Only spelling notebook assignments.
