Dates to Remember
Friday, May 9 – Student’s will host a Mother’s Day Tea at 1:00 pm in Mrs. Polgar’s classroom.
Wednesday, May 7 – Ride your bike to school day.
May 5 – May 9 – Teacher Appreciation Week.
Thursday, May 22 – Detroit Zoo Field Trip.
A note along with a permission slip for the field trip and anyone who is interested in being a chaperone for the trip will need to sign a request. This information will go home in blue folders on Monday. I will draw five names for chaperones on Friday, May 9. We only have room on the bus for five chaperones per classroom as we will be joining Ms. Gale’s classroom on the trip.
The field trip permission slip and chaperone request is due on Friday, May 9, NO LATER. I have to send a check to the zoo weeks in advance, and it is important I have all permission slips and chaperone names for the bus.

There will not be any homework packets going home for the remainder of the year for Kindergarten. I would like to focus on writing/spelling in spelling notebooks and reading book bags as homework for the remainder of the year.

We had a nice time at our field trip to Ann Arbor Hands Musem and the Scrap Box. The kids were excited to go home and make something with there scraps. I look forward to our next field trip.
